Chapter 32 – Did I just got kidnapped?
Two people were walking in the forest, one was a beautiful woman with scarlet red hair while the second one was a buffed man. The man was dragging something along, it was a rope and on the end of that rope was me.
“I can’t believe that I am in this situation right now.” I said while crying at heart.
“A few minutes ago I was sure that they would just leave me but this bastard…”
*Few minutes ago*
I was standing in front of the beauty while admiring her smile that surely is worth more than any treasure in the world when Glad said something.
Glad:”Well we should start moving.” He said while still having a huge smile as he looked at me, his hand moved to the small pouch that he had on the back of his belt for my surprise what he pulled out of it was five to seven meter long golden rope.
“What are you doing with that rope? And why are you looking at me like that?” I asked while slowly trying to get away from him.
I saw a glint from his eyes as if a hunter was looking at his prey, and just like that, he released the rope straight at me. I didn’t even had a second to respond as I was swiftly caught by the rope. The rope strangely easily surrounded around my body as if it was a living snake and no matter what I did I couldn’t get myself released.
Scarlett:”Don’t Tell me that you going to bring it along?” As a response, Glad only smiled back to her.
Scarlett:”You even using Dragon Binding rope on such a weak monster…”
Glad:”It’s not like I have a weaker rope.”
Scarlett:”…*sigh* Forget it.” She rolled her eyes at him again and started to walk into the direction where she came from, Glad followed her while dragging me along.

I was kidnapped so I was completely terrified about my future. “Are they going to sell me as a pet? Or are they really going to make a garden bush from me?” I was dragged further and further away from my safe base this only made my heart more and more anxious but what could I do? Jump on the knight and try to beat him? Or to try and take the beauty hostage? For some reason, I felt that she isn’t less dangerous than the knight so I immediately dismissed those kinds of ideas from my head.
I started to follow my kidnappers on foot because while being dragged few rocks hit me in the area of the head if you can determine where my head is located, an hour or so passed by and the duo started to talk again.
Scarlett:”I still can’t believe that you taking this monster with us, what happens if he will attack the villagers?”
Glad:”You are worried too much, didn’t you see how lovely it looked while trying to give you his precious berries.”
Scarlett:”It’s have nothing to do with that.” She said angrily, and then her gaze suddenly changed to a serious one.
Scarlett:”Don’t forget he still is a monster, even if he is small the smaller and weaker they look the more dangerous they can be.”
Glad:”I know, I didn’t forget.” He gave me a weird look that send chills through my body.
I didn’t really know what they were talking about but I did know that they were talking about me.
“Hope that they don’t want to boil me or something if only I could understand what they are talking about.”

“I should have thought about money…” I released a small laugh and immediately inspected the new skill.
Lingua Language – One of the most widespread language on Narshel continent, mostly used by humans demons and elves on the same continent.
“Today is a great day! I made two huge leaps of becoming part of society, I became a pet that soon going to be sold and started to learn a new language!” I laughed at myself pathetically almost till tears.
“Narshel so this is the name of the continent and there is even demons on it hope that I won’t meet any of them.” The first thing that appeared in my head when I heard demons are huge goat-like creatures that stand on two legs.
I looked back at Glad and Scarlett and thought to myself.
“It doesn’t look like they going to hurt me at least for now, but I still can’t trust them… I better try to escape at night, or there a good chance that I am doomed… Oh, shit the devil cat I almost forgot about it, I don’t think that I can run at night, if the description of the mark was right he won’t leave me alone no matter what.” I was starting to get worried, we walked for few hours and in few a more it would be night time and if the devil cat will pop out I would be in trouble.
After thinking like that for a while I said. “No no no, the kidnappers will easily deal with the damn devil cat.” I was afraid that remembered that the devil cat stats were close to the Alpha wolf thought it’s stronger than him, but surely it’s something that the muscle head can handle.
We were walking for hours, it looked like that the duo has decreased their speed to mine to not make it hard for me to follow them, most likely they would have already gotten to their destination if they went with their full speed.
While walking with them I remembered my last meeting with people didn’t go so nice as well. “That bastard what was his name again… Ray I think… That asshole stole my crystal I will never forget his ugly mug!” I murmured with anger as I remembered about our meeting at the same time I carved every small detail of Glads face for future revenge if I ever by able to escape.
As we continued to walk the sun disappeared behind the horizon and slowly the trees in the forest started to glow, a small chill ran through my body because I knew that it meant that those scary monsters soon will start to pop up from the shadows.
Glad:”Look at the small fellow he is glowing, isn’t it pretty?” Glad looked at me and smiled while saying something to Scarlett.
Scarlett looked at me and released a smile, every time I saw her smile I felt as if my soul was trying to leave my body.
Scarlett:”It’s pretty…” She mumbled to herself.
Glad:”What I didn’t hear you?”
Scarlett:”Hmph…” She rolled her eyes at him again.
As we continued to walk in the forest my anxiety continued to grow stronger and stronger, “I wish I was in my cave, hope that they won’t leave me as a bait for the monsters and escape.” I said as fear slowly started to flow into my heart. I could hear a rustle coming from one of the bushes near us, because of it I immediately jumped on Glad.
Glad:”Hmm what’s wrong little fellow are you afraid? Don’t worry we already close to the village.”
Because of the new skill that I got, I could understand only one word from that sentence and it was a village and few minutes after Glad said it I could see bright lights coming from in front of us. It was a village, the village was bright with different colors most likely because of the all different big trees in it.
I saw few parts of the forests that had such difference in color, but the trees here were many times bigger and closer packed to each other than before, not only that some of them had doors and windows that could be seen from afar, few of them were holding wooden houses together in the air.
As we stood on a small hill I got a great view over the village it was surrounded by a wooden wall that was built between live trees with thick vines all over it if you looked careful enough you could see sharp thorns on those vines. At the center of the village, there was a huge big tree with red leaves and white bloomed big flowers. The tree was some distance away from the other hundreds or so “tree houses” and for some reason, this tree was untouched and the flora around it as well.
I was in complete a daze for few moments as I looked at the beautiful village it reminded me my first night in this world, so many colors such beautiful shapes every “tree house” had a different shape to it, as if they were competing for whose “tree house” could take more beautiful shape. Few of the shapes were like flowers thin in the middle and colorful on the top, few were like huge ancients trees that were located there for many many decades.
I was in a daze for a long time and without any indication to move, I started to feel a pulling sensation from the rope as I was dragged to the direction of the village, we were coming closer and closer to a gate.
The gate was about five meters tall, few guards were staying on top of it, they had Jade green armor made out of unknown material that had glass glint to it, bows that were covered with the same material that was currently aimed at us, and most importantly all of the guards were elves.
As I saw them I remember the goddess. “Is there a chance that I will meet the goddess here?” I asked myself happily as I hoped to meet with the beautiful lady once more.
Guard:”Who goes there!?” One of the guards shouted something, it was obvious that they were cautious of us.
Glad:”We are adventures send by the New Order, we came to investigate the weird rumors of the forest.”
Guard:”The New Order didn’t show their faces for a long time… Show me your identification emblem.”
Glad pulled out some kind of white stone and threw it to the guard. The guard caught it with ease, he looked at the stone for a moment and his eyes became so big that I was sure they would pop out of their sockets.
Guard:”Welcome to Spero village hero Glad slayer of the bloody overlord!” The guard barely could finish his sentence.
“Why is he so nervous? Did the kidnapper blackmailed them?” I asked myself in confusion.
Glad:”Haha, I am just an B rank adventure and not even close to being a hero yet.” Glad smiled weirdly.
Guard:”Nonsense we heard of your tales even over here, only for slaying the bloody overlord you are more than enough of being a hero!” He said with a serious face.
Glad:”Well… thanks I guess, can we please enter the village?”
Guard:”Oh, of course, I am so sorry, open the gate!” The guard shouted something to the other guards, and after few moments the gate started to trembled and it slowly opened.
Guard:”I will take you to the head of the village.”
Glad:”I will appreciate that.” He smiled as he received the white stone back from the guard.
Without further ado, we entered through the gates of the village and started to walk to its center. As we were walking I again have fallen into a daze as I was seeing all the different kind of houses in the area, some built high up on the top of the trees, some were built on the ground combined with the trees and few were in the trees, seeing this kind of architecture for the first time surely would make anyone amazed.
We continued to walk by the main road to the center of the village closer to the huge white tree in the middle, even though we were walking on the main road there were barely any people at that time, my guess because it was night time and most of them were staying at home with their families.
We have stopped in front of a big sturdy house that was built between two ancient trees, one of them had red colored big leaves that were different from the big tree in the middle of the plaza, while the second one had light purple colored leaves smaller in size.
Guard:”It was a great honor meeting you, sir.” His smile was filled with admiration as he saluted by placing one of his hands on his heart.
Glad:”Thanks for showing us the was.” After Glad thanked the guard the guard left and we approached the house. We didn’t even have to bother to knock on the door as it opened by itself, a white-haired young man was standing in front of us, he had silver eyes and he wore a long green robe.
“I knew it… They came to sell me to this rich youngster…”
